My Other Best Friend's Wedding

Anisa and Bronszon were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Saturday and it was a beautiful wedding! The sealing was followed by a gorgeous and delicious lunch at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then the most elegant reception at Magleby's in Springville.
The couple looked so very happy! They are absolutely perfect for each other and we are all so happy that they ended up together. Anisa has been one of my best friends since elementary school and I don't know what I would do without her. Bronszon will be a great addition to our little group and we can't wait to see them grow as a couple. We look forward to many fun times ahead with them. We love you so much Nisa and Bronszon!! Congrats on your special day!!

I love this picture for some reason. Just Nisa's face and Autumn's face are so great!!

Nisa had this awesome idea to have flying lanterns like the ones you see in the movie Tangled. Sadly, before the couple left, none of the lanterns really worked... Here are the failed attempts.
The car turned out great! Very messy!!
Then as soon as Nisa and Bronszon left, two lanterns ended up working. They turned out great. Sorry you didn't get to see them Nisa and Bronszon, they were super cool though! Such a great idea!!

Memories

Two years ago today I walked into classes at UVU a naive 19 year old girl with a brand new shiny jewel on my finger that my BOYFRIEND at the time had given me the night before. I had just reached the ranks of the "engaged girl," and I fit the stereotype in every way. I was so excited to show off my super cool new bling to everyone I saw, even if we didn't really know each other. I used my left hand for everything I could so that people were forced to look at my shiny new addition and make some sort of comment about it. I used the word fiance as often as possible and tried to make it sound as casual as I could. I was excited and I wanted the world to know it, Jacob Lester Mitchell had claimed me to be his for eternity!!

Today, I walk into work at Siegfried and Jensen graduated from college and all grown up (sort of) with the same sparkly ring on my finger with the addition of a simple band that my now HUSBAND has given me. I no longer flaunt my ring around but instead, I flaunt my husband around. Even though it's been two years since the day he asked me to be his, I still look forward to calling him my husband every opportunity that I get. My stomach gets butterflies when he texts me, calls me, looks at me that special way, and when he comes home from work or school after a long day. I love my husband and I couldn't be happier that he asked me to marry him.

Jazz Game

S&J has the best hook-ups anyone could ever ask for! Last night Hailey, Todd, Jake and I were lucky enough to get the tickets to the Jazz and Pistons game. We had planned on just heading home from work as usual at 5:00 but were granted with 10th row seats along with a buffet of delicious food instead. It was marvelous! Thanks for the perks S&J, you are the best!
