Oh how I love the weekend! I actually get to spend time with those I love and want to be with the most and this weekend was no exception! Jake only had to work for a little bit on Saturday so we were able to spend a lot of time together! The weekend started by watching friends play softball, (and they did amazing, great job everyone!), then we had a killer soccer game on Saturday (winning 6-1, we still got it ladies!), then a fun lunch with grandma and the aunts for mothers day, followed by car washing with the fam.
Saturday night Jake suprised me with a "Future Mother's Day" celebration. He brought me home flowers and then we had a little campout in the living room, it was so fun! I love that man!
Sunday was also marvelous because all of the wonderful mothers got the attention they deserve. I love all of the wonderful women in my life, especially my mother! She has done so much for all of her children and she often doesn't get the credit she deserves. Love ya mom!
I almost forgot, Jake also suprised me Sunday morning with some delicious strawberry and chocolate chip waffles! Delicious! Thanks honey!
On Sunday, in remembrance of my sweet cousin Shelby who passed away last year we also let off a bunch of balloons as we sang Happy Birthday to her. Her 13th birthday would be this Wednesday. I wish I would have taken some pictures but I was too busy crying. I sure do miss that little girl. We love you Shelby, Happy Birthday!!
