For Mom's birthday on Wednesday we spent the evening around the house eating and playing games. It was a laid back but fun night. Thanks for having a birthday Mom!
I love that Dad looks like he is checking out Mom in this picture!! Also, the food was super yummy!!
Mom was hungry!
Mom made a list of the exact things she wanted for her birthday so Dad went and got the exact things then cut up her list and put a slip of paper with each item in the boxes. It was super funny!
After dinner we played a game of croquet.
Poor Caden didn't have a teammate.
All the boys were determined to play the proper way by swinging the mallet between their legs. You can also see that Dad was freezing so he wore a blanket all night.
Mom, the birthday girl, was the winner!
Mom and her much taller son-in-laws. Jake and Dave noticed that Mom had pictures of everyone else up around the house but no pictures of herself. So they had me take this picture then went and got it developed and gave it to her as a late birthday present to put on display. I thought it was a sweet idea.
A round of Buzzword before everyone left, our favorite game.
Then on Thursday we went to the Art City Days Carnival with a bunch of our friends. It was a lot of fun!
After the Carnival we went back to our house and played our favorite game Buzzword again, along with the Game of Things. The boys sure had us laughing all night, it was a blast! It made for a great start to a long weekend ahead of us.
Wow you got those up quickly! That was a lot of fun last night. Thanks for having us over! We will have you over to our place next so you can look at my bedroom. Ha!
